Abstract
Kate Adams interviewed Betty Jackson, an early member of Sandplay Therapists of America (STA) and the International Society for Sandplay Therapy (ISST), whose contribution to sandplay therapy has been “wide and deep.” Betty Jackson recounts her study abroad experience in Zurich in 1975 where she was taught by Marie Louise von Franz and Dora Kalff. Her experience with Frau Kalff changed the trajectory of her intended career and set her on the path of becoming a psychotherapist.
