Abstract

This article comprises the introduction and conclusion of a lecture taped by Estelle Weinrib in her home in approximately 1992, at a time when she was using videotape to collect material for a second book. It was originally shown at a meeting of Jungian analysts in New York. As her Parkinson’s Disease progressed, she was unable to complete the book, but as of 2014, this lecture and two others have been edited and are available in a DVD, Estelle Weinrib Presents. In these sections of the first lecture, she describes the components and possibilities of a sandplay process, and discusses the Jungian view of the structure of the psyche, with special emphasis on the archetype of the Self. The article contains an introduction by Barbara Weller.

ZUSAMMENFASSUNG: Dieser Beitrag enthält die Einleitung und Schlußfolgerungen eines Vortrags von Estelle Weinrib, der 1992 aufgenommen wurde. In diesen Teilen des ersten Vortrags beschreibt sie die Bestandteile und Möglichkeiten eines Sandspiel Prozesses und diskutiert die Jungschen Ansicht der Struktur der Psyche, mit einer besonderen Betonung des Archetyps des Selbst.
