Abstract
The words wilderness, home, and soul are explored as critical realities and metaphors that are needed to develop and recover a relationship with nature and the inner world of the psyche. C. G. Jung referred to wilderness and the desert as places of reckoning in his own inner process of discovery working with the unconscious. Newer authors like Abrams and Bernstein add new dimensions in recovering a lost and ruptured relationship to nature and our bodies. Sandplay constructions are shown. (A version of this article was presented as a keynote address at Returning to the Self—Sandplay Therapists of America National Conference, 2012 in Berkeley, California, USA).

Zuhause in der Wildnis: Fühlen, Werden, Seele Erleben in der Sandspieltherapie
ZUSAMMENFASSUNG: Die Worte Wildnis, Zuhause, und Seele werden als kritische Realitäten erforscht, die nötig sind für die Entwicklung und Wiedergewinnung eines Verhältnisses mit der Natur und der inneren Welt der Psyche. C.G. Jung verweist auf die Wildnis und die Wüste als Plätze wo eine Abrechnung seines eigenen inneren Prozesses der Entdeckung seiner Arbeit mit dem Unbewußten stattfinden konnte. Autoren wie Abrams und Bernstein bringen neue Dimensionen ein, wie man die abgebrochene Verbindung zwischen Natur und Körper wiedergewinnen kann. Dieser Artikel enthält Sandspiel Szenen.
