ABSTRACT: Dreams, Myths and Fairy Tales in Japan by ISST Founding Member Prof. Dr. Hayao Kawai from Kyoto, Japan was published by Daimon Verlag, Einsiedeln, Switzerland in 1995. The book was reviewed by Sherry Renmu Shepherd who discusses Prof. Dr. Kawai’s writing on Japanese culture, myths, fairy tales as well as dreams in medieval Japan.
