Abstract

This article describes a sandplay training workshop for primarily experienced creative arts therapists who are acquainted with experiential group intensive training and creative individual process in a group format. The workshop structure balances individual work and theory, similar to art therapy training groups. This short-term framework, together with the fact that the participants are professional therapists, seems to accelerate individual focus on essential wounds and enable resolution and healing in a 6-tray process made by each participant. Three brief case examples demonstrate various aspects of relationships in the group.
