Abstract
The authors examine the growing need and challenges of conducting sandplay in a medical-model environment, and provide practical steps for training staff and offering sandplay to groups of 6-10 children. They explain approaches for holding a protected space when working with groups, so the traditional benefits of individual sandplay can be retained, and consider what new benefits may derive from working in a group setting.
