Abstract
This article follows the sandplay process of a man struggling to free his creativity, relieve his depression and come to terms with his relationship with women and the Feminine in his internal and external worlds. The image of the dragon played an prominent role in the client‘s process. Initially as a potential threat to productivity and the emergence of his self, suggestive of his defenses against connection and self-revelation, and later as a possible representation of wisdom, power and integration. The quality and representation of the image of the dragon changed during his sandplay therapy. In his process he befriended the dragon resulting in the transformation of his relationship to the image of the dragon and feminine images.

Den Drachen Verwandeln: Der Pfad eines Mannes
ZUSAMMENFASSUNG: Dieser Artikel beschreibt den Sandspielprozess eines Mannes, der sich abmüht, seine Kreativität freizusetzen, seine Depression zu lindern und sich mit seiner Beziehung zu Frauen und dem Weiblichen in seiner inneren und äußeren Welt auseinanderzusetzen.
