Abstract
The author explores and amplifies the image and symbolism of the weeping willow tree and discusses the psychotherapy process and sandplay scenes of two clients who used weeping willow tree miniatures. An adolescent female was referred to therapy when she began to suffer from symptoms including low self-esteem, etc. after her parents divorced. The author also describes the sandplay process of a young boy who developed separation anxiety and school problems after experiencing a serious hurricane.
