Abstract
This article is an interview with Founding International Society for Sandplay Therapy Member Dr. Chonita Larsen. The interview conducted by Judy Zappacosta outlines Dr. Larsen’s own history of relationship with Dora Kalff, and other teachers including Dr. Cecil Burney, Dr. Stanislov Grof, and Joseph Campbell. The influences and development in Dr. Larsen’s training as well as her personal reflections offer insight in a cumulative respect. The conversation also includes casework and guidelines for sandplay therapy conducted with children. The questions and answers provide an opportunity to appreciate the voice of an elder in the Jungian and sandplay world.
