Abstract
The author offers an update of the current state of sandplay in the mainland of China. She writes about her work as a child psychology professor, supervisor of graduate students, and as dean of three preschools in China. The author describes how she has used sandplay in preschools and explains that she has termed her work “Sandplay Without Therapy” to differentiate it from sandplay therapy. She includes a brief example of a preschool boy’s use of the sand.
