Abstract
Sandplay therapists often count objects in the tray—2 trees, 3 rabbits, 6 rocks—and attempt to interpret their meaning. Symbol dictionaries accordingly contain entries headed by one, two, three and so on. The body of all entries is sometimes called numerology. Speaking from his understanding, the author would like to suggest that seeing and interpreting structures in the tray reveal far more significant meaning. The Reflection in the Journal is an abstract of the author’s web page, which also includes explanatory figures.
