Abstract
This article explores the significance and meaning of miniatures placed on or overhanging the sandtray's edge. Relevant cases from the literature and the author's practice are presented. Topics discussed include enhancement of the boundary of the tray, anger and impulse control issues, establishing and breaking boundaries, and the lack of previous discussion about the significance of the tray's edge.
