Abstract
Kate Donohue reviews Foundations of Expressive Arts Therapy: Theoretical and Clinical Perspectives, edited by Stephen K. Levine and Ellen G. Levine (Jessica Kingsley, 1999). The editors of this book included “twelve of the pioneers and innovators in the field from Europe, Canada, Israel and the United States to offer a “multiplicity of perspectives which represent the field of expressive arts therapy at this point in time” (Levine and Levine, 1999, p.9). The book includes Part 1: “Philosophical and Theoretical Perspectives” and Part 2; “Clinical Perspectives.”
