Abstract
The suggestion is made in this article to aim to experience sandplay, referred to as “opening to it,” rather than interpret it. With this attitude of being open to the tray, insights about the tray are deeper and more significant. The author suggests the opening of mind, body, emotions, and spirit to receive the sandplay in its totality.
