Sandplay Conversation with Jim Wright Via Zoom
My Journey to Sandplay Therapy
It began at age 7 followed by completing a Sandplay Process with Barb Weller in 1992. The conversation will begin with stories and then move to into actual cases with photos of tray which will demonstrate how Sandplay therapy brought about healing for so many children and teenagers.
Jim’s Bio
Jim has been in private practice in Burnsville, MN working with children and adolescents who have experienced emotional trauma. He uses Sandplay therapy to help them in their healing. Jim has also worked with adolescents who have sexually offended. He has used family, individual, and group therapy with this population. Jim is a published author of a book “The Sexualization of America’s Kids and how to Stop It.” Jim’s Degree is from the University of Chicago in Clinical Social Work. He works exclusively with children and adolescents.

MSTG Fall Retreat
Koronos Retreat Center Minnesota
This will be a contemplative educational retreat focused on the personal and professional development of the Sandplay Therapist.
Topics may include writing about symbols, writing case papers, writing for publication, self-analysis or other areas not thought of by us yet. The concept of active imagination will be encouraged. There will be senior Sandplayers, some CST-Ts wh will provide mentoring throughout the weekend in small and large group formats. Attendees will pick their area of interest and introduce themselves and their area of focus at the first large group following lunch on Friday. All attendees will be encouraged to arrive for the first group which will be foundational for the weekend

Sandplay Conversation with Ellen Saul Via Zoom
Ellen will talk about her recently published book, “From Pain to Power: Seven Steps to Healthy Boundaries.” Ellen says she is looking forward to showing the parallels between her book and Lorraine Freedle’s Seven Phases of the Sandplay Process.
