STA Standards for Professional Conduct In 2019 the Board of Trustees adopted the STA Standards for Professional Conduct to raise awareness about ethical issues and organizational expectations regarding the professional conduct of its members. Ethics Committee FAQs What is the Ethics Committee? The Ethics Committee processes complaints about potential violations of the STA Standards for Professional Conduct. The Ethics Committee assesses alleged violations and recommends a course of action, always ensuring due process. How do I file a complaint or ask a question? Complaints or inquiries regarding potential violations of the STA Professional Standards by any of its members may be directed to Linda Cunningham, Chair of the Ethics Committee at ethics@sandplay.org or by phone: 415-346-6363. 2021 STA COVID-19 Updated Emergency Action Plan

In order to better serve our members during this time of national crisis, STA is implementing the following three-part plan: I. Increase Virtual Opportunities for Members to Connect. II. Exceptions for Education/Training Hours and Case Consultations. III. Offering support to Teaching Members to improve capacity for online training. We hope these changes will be helpful to our members. As this pandemic progresses in our country and each of you are called upon to hold others more and more, you also need to be held. Please stay safe and well.
