Tool Kit 2021 – The Evidence Base for Sandplay Therapy
Presenter: Lorraine Freedle, CST-T
When: Friday June 25, 2021, 12-1 PST
Is sandplay therapy an effective treatment? If so, who benefits from sandplay? Although it can be difficult to capture the essence of an unconscious process through research, there is a substantial and growing body of work demonstrating the efficacy and effectiveness of sandplay therapy in the treatment of children and adults with a wide variety of clinical issues. Participants will: identify the evidence base for sandplay therapy in treatment of various clinical disorders; apply available evidence to guide and inform the use of sandplay therapy; and identify three ways to expand the research base in sandplay therapy.
