STA/ISST Certified Sandplay Training – Sandplay with Children

June 6, 2020 9:00 am to 8:30 pm.
June 7, 2020 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon.
Presenters: Lavon Bobo, LMFT, CST-T, Olivia Heathcote, Ed.D., LMFT, CST-T, Jacquelyn Kelley, LCSW, CST-T
Jungian Sandplay with Children as developed by Dora Kalff. Training will include developmental stages and themes in sandplay process with children. Theories of Erich Neumann and Dora Kalff will be presented in the context of cases with children. Concept of holding the free and protected space will be advanced. Working with parents and siblings are aspects that will be covered.
Participants receive 15 hours of CE credit. Cost is $300 for the entire weekend.
Objectives:
- Participants will be able to list the phases of psychic development according to Dora Kalff.
- Participants will be able to list the stages of the evolutionary journey as described by Erich Neumann.
- Participants will be able to list the stages of ego development as noted by Dora Kalff.
- Participants will be able to explain sandplay and child play therapy to parents, including confidentiality.
