Brief description of event: This 2-hour online conversation among “Sand Specialists” explores Kalffian Sandplay, Play Therapy’s Sandtray, Narrative Sand Therapy, and other approaches to using symbols in sand. In particular, participants will learn to distinguish among these varied approaches, focusing on clinical skills, therapist training, cultural factors, limits and benefits for clients, scope of practice, research, and potential effects on the play therapist and other clinicians.
