This course, or its equivalent, is recommended before taking all others.

This weekend training teaches the basics in a small group setting near the Marina in San Francisco. Several times each year, this training is offered to therapists and therapists-in-training. It is always a fun weekend, with a large experiential component–you’ll have the experience of both making and witnessing a sandtray.

By the end of this training, you will be able to:

  • Begin to use sandplay in your practice.
  • Set up your own sandplay collection
  • Understand practical considerations
  • Experience the importance of symbols
  • Understand some basic concepts in Jungian sandplay theory
  • Explain clinical process in sandplay
  • Understand the difference between Sandplay and Sandtray

The next Introduction to Sandplay Weekend Training is scheduled for January 12-14, 2018.
