Hello San Diego Sandplay Community!!
You are invited to the Friends of Sandplay Lunch & Learn offerings scheduled through 2026. We will be exploring the wondrous world of Kalffian Sandplay and how it may be used to support healing and create deeper meaning in the lives of our clients and ourselves. In addition to Sandplay, we will introduce ways to blend techniques used in Psychodrama, Soul Collage, Play Therapy, Sand Tray, & the Expressive Arts Therapies. Let’s play & learn together! This lunch and learn session will delve deeper into the nature of how Sandplay Therapy provides space for clients to develop a
greater sense of Self and for the psyche to heal. Paul Lesnik & Gail Gerbie will facilitate experiential exercises & discussion focusing on how nature, energy, & the numinous communicate non-verbally in the sand. We will also include how these themes appear in Psychodrama, Soul Collage, Play Therapy & Expressive Arts Therapies.
The Numinous refers to feelings that arise when experiencing a mysterious, awe-inspiring, deeply spiritual, connection to something that we sense as being much greater than Oneself.
