Abstract

The liminal place, as referred to by this author, is “the place where the unconscious can come to consciousness, a place where the veils between worlds thin.” Sandplay “catalyzes” the unconscious of the client and therapist in the “psycho-biological field.” Without any agenda, sandplay offers the means to experience this liminal place.
