More About Our Clinical Members…

Lucia Chambers, MA

Lucia Chambers, MA, LPC
Licensed Marriage Family Therapist
Clinical Teaching Member

I have always felt that there is a focused energy and a mysterious knowledge that lies deeper than our conscious mind can reach and more profound than we have words to express. The theoretical ideas of Carl Jung and the experiential work of sandplay and dream work have grounded me firmly in this work of searching for the light that lies in the depths of every human psyche.

I am a founding member of the Sandplay Therapists of America. I consult, teach and assist in setting up study programs across the United States, as well as maintain a private practice in San Jose, California.

Christine Ford, MA, LPCChristine Ford, MA, LPC
Licensed Marriage Professional Counselor
Clinical Teaching Member

About My Work:
Chris works in depth with dreams and interactive imagination—in sandplay, body awareness, meditation, and the arts—for the psyche leans toward us in myriad ways. The “real work” (poet Gary Snyder) is to attune to this mysterious light of our nature. It alone knows and forever seeks to illuminate our unknown.

Chris writes and presents on topics such as The Star in the Earth: The Light from Below (Colorado Jung Society, Dec. 2010). She consults in sandplay, in person and on-line, and has published (Journal of Sandplay Therapy) and presented at ISST/Rome, with Sachiko Taki Reece, and has taught for many years for the Colorado Sandplay Therapy Association. She is past president of CSTA, helped coordinate the Boulder 2010 STA Conference, and serves on the STA Board of Trustees.

We heal body-mind, soul and spirit through the symbolic life, the light of nature.
