 urse — Sandplay Training Worldwide\n\n\n\nKalffian theory is the foundat
 ion of Jungian sandplay therapy. Because of Kalff’s emphasis on the free
  and protected space\, delayed interpretation\, and her definition of tran
 sference as protection for the client\, many clinicians who are not traine
 d in depth methods have a difficult time understanding this theory. In thi
 s training\, we examine Kalff’s basic principles\, and witness them in a
 ction through case material.\n\n\n\n\nEducational Objectives\n\nTo be able
  to use Kalffian theory in the practice of sandplay\; to understand Kalff
 ’s basic terminology\; to bring a Kalffian sensibility to the practice o
 f sandplay.\n\nLearning Objectives\n\n1.     Describe the “free and 
 protected space.”\n2.     Discuss the mother child unity.\n3.   
   Explain Kalff’s reasons for using transference as protection\, rather
  than in the classical sense.\n4.     Discuss the importance of nonint
 erpretation / delayed interpretation.\n5.     Describe the importance 
 of the constellation of the Self for Kalff.\n\nCourse meets the qualificat
 ions for 3 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs\, LCSWs\, LPCCs
 \, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
 \n\nLinda Cunningham is approved by the California Association of Marriag
 e and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs\, LCSWs
 \, LPCCs\, and LEPs.\n\nLinda Cunningham maintains responsibility for thi

 frequent presenter at conferences. Dr. Cunningham has taught sandplay for 
 almost 30 years and currently gives sandplay trainings online to an intern
 ational audience.\n\n\n
