The C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles provides a 10-month Sandplay course, beginning in September 2016 and ending in June 2017. The seminars will be taught once a month on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., each focused on different aspects of Sandplay.
The course is intended for registered mental health professionals, including Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and registered interns. A basic training in Sandplay is also requested to apply.
Case Consultation (optional): Group case consultation may be arranged on demand during the weekends of the seminars, either on Sunday morning from 9:30-11:10am, or on Friday morning 9:30-11:10. Case consultation will provide an opportunity for discussion and integration of theoretical and clinical material.
Case consultation is not directly managed by the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles. Additional fee of $500 applies (for 10 sessions). CE credits are not be available for this option, but credits towards STA certification will be provided.
Submission deadline: September 2, 2016.
Tuition: $1,500 for the program (does not include case consultation).
Participants must register for the entire series. No discount or refund will be given for missed classes.
A maximum of 60 CE credits can be earned, based on class attendance (does not include case consultation). Attendance, including case consultation, will also be counted toward certification as a Sandplay therapist with the Sandplay Therapists of America (STA).
