The meaning of the symbol as manifested in Jungian psychology and in the sand will be presented through the illustration of the therapeutic work with a young girl who was diagnosed with congenital deafness. Through the use of amplifying symbols and with the help of the Grimm’s fairy tale, Snow White and Rose Red, we will explore how she is challenged to grow and develop.
