Ryce-Menuhin, Joel. Dora Kalff as Influence, Analyst and Friend Volume IV, Number 2, 1995 The author of this article describes his extensive experience with Dora Kalff in analysis in the early years of the 1970’s. He describes going through “severe clinical depression” at the time. Dora Kalff is remembered by him for her “nonverbal presence” and her “native shrewdness”. This mature relationship together is described as having mastery over transference issues outside the therapeutic relationship. Their friendship and mutual respect for the sandplay process prompted both to believe that this could be a means for the healing of the world psyche. SANDPLAY |
