ABSTRACT: Sandplay therapy is presented as a collaborative participation between the therapist and the sandplayer, with the personal work of the therapist significantly affecting the movement of the therapy. This author has found that continual learning, processing personal growth in sandplay and watching the interplay between the therapist and the client have all contributed to growth in insight and personal development.
