Abstract: This article is a brief account of the March 8, 2008 Fresno, California regional conference of STA. The focus was on case presentations featuring animals. Two teaching members of STA presented one case each, and one of these teaching members analyzed the symbolism of polar bears. Three local therapists each presented clinical material.
