Bucher, Larry L. Engaging Menopause: Symbolic Reflections on Snow White’s Stepmother

Volume 14, Number 1 (Volume XIV, Number 1, 2005)

KEY WORDS: sandplay therapy, puer, senex, response article.

ABSTRACT: Responding to the Cunningham-Amatruda presentation of the “Witch and the Queen” at the ’02 STA conference, the author reflects on those challenges present for men at mid-life through three self-constructed miniatures—Lot’s Wife, Ganesh, and Container Man—as well as the puer/senex archetypes.
