ABSTRACT: This article explores the imagos of the witch and the queen to develop a template of a woman’s journey through the years that correspond with menopause. Gradually leaving behind the potentialities of the girl, young lover, and mother, roles that have both enriched and bound her, a woman grapples with her aging process and eventual death.
