ABSTRACT: This article documents the struggle sandplay therapy is undergoing in Australia as an emerging new therapy. Last year Kate Rogers accepted an invitation from the Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia to hold a lecture about sandplay and art therapy. This included meetings with several sandplay therapists from Sydney, Brisbane, and the University of Queensland.
