ABSTRACT: This piece is a personal conference report. It is written from the viewpoint of an honored guest looking in. To travel from Exeter in England to New Mexico was something of a quest for the author. He found the liminal sand, other seekers, and psychological gold being forged out of the conference synergy. Moved to begin writing the piece at conference, the work of Sandplay Therapists of America has subsequently impacted creatively upon colleagues and students in England.
