Volume 11, Number 2, 2002 (Volume XI, Number 2, 2002)

KEY WORDS: Liberty, statue, ground zero, September 11, 2001, clinical example, sandplay therapy, resolution.

ABSTRACT: The Statue of Liberty, a gift from France to the American people, became a beacon of hope to immigrants. Following the tragedy of September 11th her image cannot escape one, on television, in newspapers and magazines. She has become an icon, a goddess of freedom.
